Profound thanks to five of our coalition members who recently agreed to volunteer their time and expertise to help run TherapySafetyNet.

Referral Coordination

Elaine Janssen, LCSW and Ellen Varady, LCSW-R, CASAC will be joining our weekly rotation of Referral Coordinators. They will be responding to applications from prospective clients, determining clients’ eligibility, and helping prospective clients through each stage of the referral process.

Membership

Louise Lasson, LCSW, CASAC will be pitching in with membership activities, including membership renewals for currently participating therapists and helping to facilitate the application process for new professional members.

Public Relations

Ilana Simons, Ph.D. and Michael Mance, Ph.D. will be joining our Public Relations efforts to help make TherapySafetyNet better known in the community–both among potential referral sources and prospective uninsured New Yorkers.

Getting Involved

This is to express appreciation for our latest volunteers, who–in addition to providing direct client care to uninsured New Yorkers at significantly reduced fees–are also taking on some of the considerable effort required to run our referral service.
