Updates on TherapySafetyNet’s transition

From 2007-2013, TherapySafetyNet was a coalition of socially responsible therapists in private practice in New York.  Our volunteer-run coalition operated a referral service to connect uninsured New Yorkers with affordable psychotherapy and psychiatric care.

As New York State’s health insurance exchange now provides affordable insurance under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (commonly known as Obamacare), TherapySafetyNet has accomplished its mission and is winding down its operations. Learn more about TherapySafetyNet’s transition here.

Uninsured New Yorkers can now purchase affordable health insurance that covers mental healthcare.
